Are you a dynamic and innovative library professional looking to make a real impact? Marshall University is seeking a passionate and skilled Electronic Resource and Systems Librarian to join our team. This role supports library operations by ensuring seamless access to digital resource systems, playing a key role in supporting the university’s academic mission.
University Libraries, 12-month librarian track-Assistant Professor / Librarian II What You’ll Do: · Provide leadership in aspects of electronic resources and systems.
· Contribute innovative ideas and make strategic decisions based on academic program needs.
· Manage electronic resources including databases, e-books, and online journals.
· Troubleshoot access issues and coordinate with IT or vendors to resolve problems.
· Coordinate trials for new electronic resources in collaboration with other library staff.
· Extract, analyze, and report data from library systems to support decision-making.
· Manage and administer the integrated library system (ILS), including modules for cataloging, acquisitions, and ERM.
· Perform routine system updates, backups, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring.
· Coordinate the implementation of new software or system upgrades
· Participate in campus and university committees.
